The company Läckrast began as a foodtruck and they are now delivering boxes of high quality sausages. My brief started with designing the outside of the foodtruck which became the base for the company’s visual identity including logo, business card and marketing material.
I wanted to give Läckrast and their foodtruck a visual identity that expresses joy and playfulness while also having a vintage feel to it, appealing to the long tradition of eating hot dogs at tivolis, fotball games and other places that bring the community together. This is how the hot dog hot air balloons where created and they are flying over the Stockholm city silhouette since Stockholm is where Läckrast is based – and also where the sausages are made.
The color profile was not entirely up to me since we needed to include the beige and the red from Stockholm Korvfabrik’s logotype. I added the blue which serves as a sky background for the hot dog balloons.
